Leuze electronic nv/sa Belgium is one of the 21 foreign subsidiaries of Leuze worldwide. The founding in 1991 was an important step in the internationalization of the Leuze electronic Group - "The Sensor People" is how the employees of the Leuze electronic Group are called. Today, more than 1,200 work for the sensor expert worldwide.

The Leuze electronic Group has 21 subsidiaries worldwide. Its Belgian service and sales company celebrated its 30th anniversary in June.
Following the establishment of the Leuze subsidiary in the Netherlands in 1987, a Leuze subsidiary in Belgium was also established in 1991. For the first two decades, general manager Philippe Meeus headed the Belgian service and sales company. Until his retirement last year, he was an active member of the Benelux team and contributed to the further development of the sales company in Machelen with his many years of experience and great commitment. Today, Rob Vrijburg leads the fortunes of both Benelux subsidiaries as Managing Director. Since the beginning of this year, he has been based in the newly occupied premises in Geldermalsen, the Netherlands. Like his predecessor, he has been part of the Benelux Sensor People team since the establishment of the two national companies and has extensive market and industry knowledge.
Like the entire Leuze electronic Group, the Belgian service and sales company has been growing at an above-average rate for many years. Together with their customers, the Sensor People in the Benelux actively shape the changes in the industry and thus create the innovations of tomorrow. Leuze's product range includes switching and measurement sensors, identification systems, data transmission and image processing solutions, and machine safety components and systems. The focus of their work is in the areas of intralogistics, packaging, machine tools, automotive and laboratory automation. Leuze was founded in 1963, headquartered in Owen/Teck in southern Germany. Today there are more than 1,200 Sensor people around the world working with great experience and dedication for the sustainable success of their customers in a changing industry - whether in the technological competence centers or in one of the 20 sales companies supported by more than 40 international distributors.
