Thanks to their innovative lock mechanism, the new SafeKey padlocks 700% offer more key options than a standard security lock. With over 100,000 different keys, SafeKey padlocks can provide ideal support for personalized hierarchies of large sets of Keyed Different padlocks, which can be opened with a runner or central runner when needed. Registered key numbers ensure that no two keys in the same company open the same lock when needed. For added security, both non-conductive and corrosion-resistant padlocks are available.
With color-coded keys in the same color as the padlock, SafeKey padlocks improve Lockout/Tagout efficiency during maintenance operations. Nine colors are available to help maintenance technicians find the right key for one of their locks. In addition, the locking mechanism allows for smooth insertion and removal of the key for quick and easy padlock operation.
Each SafeKey padlock can be engraved with the name of an employee, team, department or work area or with a serial number. In addition to Keyed Different, Keyed Alike options are also available to open a series of locks with the same key.
