For the food industry, hygiene is the basic requirement for components for many applications. Consequently, the Verder Liquids range of hygienic pumping solutions was already particularly extensive in order to meet customer requirements. Under the Packo brand name, Verder produces hygienic centrifugal pumps on the one hand (the former Packo) and lobe, rotary lobe and screw spindle pumps on the other (the former JEC). Two pump series that fit together perfectly and together form a complete line of pumping solutions for the hygienic market segment. Packo is known for the high quality of its pumps, made with very strict precision, according to the highest hygienic design principles and with standardized and detailed final inspection of all pumps produced.
Since May 1, that range of hygienic pumps is now being strengthened with the arrival of the Jabsco lobe pumps from Xylem. During a transition period, the products will be marketed under the "Jabsco by Packo" brand name. These include the 55 series & Ultima Ultra hygienic lobe pumps, the HP series Hy~line. Adding an additional footprint in the market by expanding the portfolio with Jabsco, increasing the level of hygienic knowledge and intensifying the focus on the hygienic market will enable Verder to further increase penetration in these growing markets. The addition of the lobe pump product line will strengthen our position as a specialist in hygienic pumps."
As of today, all Jabsco lobe pumps can be purchased from the Further organization under the new name: Jabsco by Packo. All other Jabsco product lines and technologies will remain in the hands of Xylem, which continues to serve various industrial sectors as a leader in motor diaphragm (MDD), flexible impeller and sliding vane technologies. For Jabsco's existing customers, essentially nothing will change. The hygienic lobe pumps have not changed. You can still buy the same Jabsco pumps as you always have.
