The LogiMAT trade fair in Stuttgart provides a comprehensive overview of the market for intralogistics and process management. As one of the market leaders in drive technology, NORD presents its solutions for the industry there. Among the fair highlights are the revolutionary and patented DuoDrive geared motor, the highly efficient IE5+ synchronous motor, the NORDAC ON/ON+ decentralized frequency inverter and an intelligent concept for status-oriented maintenance according to Industrie 4.0.
Jodern automated intralogistics systems place high demands on drives in both horizontal and vertical conveyor technology. NORD DRIVESYSTEMS offers the industry innovative drive solutions that combine reliability with efficiency. The DuoDrive sets new standards in intralogistics. The innovative and patented gearmotor integrates a highly efficient IE5+ synchronous motor in the housing of the single-stage parallel shaft helical gear unit. This ensures not only compact size and minimal noise emissions, but also high power density and system efficiency. Together with easy plug-and-play commissioning, the complete DuoDrive solution results in a significant reduction of the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) compared to other drive systems.

The innovative and patented DuoDrive geared motor offers outstanding system efficiency.
The decentralized NORDAC ON/ON+ frequency inverter was developed by NORD specifically for horizontal conveyor technology. An integrated Ethernet interface, full "pluggability" and a very compact design make it the smart inverter for decentralized use in intralogistics. The frequency inverter can be attached directly to the drive housing and is designed for lower power ratings up to 1.0 kW. The combination with the IE5+ synchronous motor (NORDAC ON+) provides considerable efficiency potential.
Avoiding downtime is also one of the most important objectives in intralogistics. To increase plant availability, NORD has developed "CONDITION MONITORING for PREDICTIVE MAINTENANCE." The integrated PLC in NORD frequency inverters can process data from connected sensors and actuators, initiate autonomous control sequences and communicate drive and application data to the control center, network components or cloud storage. This enables continuous condition monitoring and thus forms the basis for predictive maintenance concepts and optimal plant sizing. Undesirable operating states can now be recognized early, unplanned downtimes can be avoided, and maintenance becomes predictive.
These and more drive solutions will be presented by NORD DRIVESYSTEMS from May 31 to June 2, 2022 at the LogiMAT in Stuttgart. You will find the company at booth D10 in hall 03.
