After the introduction on the German market in 2021 and the expansion of the webshop to Austria and Switzerland at the beginning of 2022, customers in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg can now also visit the elo.store webshop. The aim is to create added value for customers through significantly shorter delivery times and the elimination of minimum order quantities.
The product range in the elo.store covers elobau's four product areas: operator controls, machine safety, sensor technology and level measurement. For the implementation, elobau created the subsidiary elostore GmbH & Co. KG, which operates the web shop with elobau's products. "With the elo.store, we want to better meet the needs of small and medium-sized companies," says Michael Hetzer, managing director of elo.store. The biggest added value for customers is delivery time. Since the elo.store currently stocks 650 different items, delivery times are reduced to 1-3 days. At the same time, the number of items available in the shop is being expanded and item requests are welcome.
Products can be returned within two weeks - even if they are not defective. "We know this is not common in the B2B sector, but we see it as a service to our customers," says Hetzer. "Should they have questions and need help, our experts are available via a live chat function."
