Switch to Industry 4.0

EAO's freely configurable, clear and capacitive IO-Link Touch opens up numerous new HMI application possibilities for a wide range of applications, especially in the food industry. With the Series 84 IO-Link Touch from EAO, digital machine systems can be easily and quickly equipped and operated with controls.

With its three switch variants - standard, stainless steel and a hygienic version - IO-Link Touch offers a range of switches and signal fixtures ideal for applications within the food industry. Consider applications such as automated manufacturing, switch and control cabinets, food and beverage industry, packaging equipment, autonomous robotic conveying systems, and so on. 

Digital network

The series can be easily connected via a digital network. The IO-Link communication interface and programmable connection options have been introduced worldwide. The switches can be networked to an advanced machine system via an integrated M12 5-pin screw terminal with a mounting depth of only 25.8 mm, making the equipment compatible with the Industry 4.0 standard.

Freely configurable

The use options of the switches are based on a freely selectable configuration that can be tailored to the application. For example, the lighting - when activated - can turn on with a deliberate delay. Or the operational readiness of the switch can be signaled by a green lighting that changes to yellow when actuated and to red a few seconds later. The configuration remains stored in the switch even if no power is supplied.

RGB LED lighting

The static or flashing RGB LED lighting in up to 16 million colors is particularly bright. Thanks to the integrated ambient light-adjustable sensor, the switch always illuminates with the right intensity under all lighting conditions. Four laterally illuminated lenses integrated into the front frame ensure visibility of the full status display. The design of the IO-Link Touch can also be integrated into any modern application environment.
