Cantoni electric motors exclusively available in the Benelux through Kolmer

A special milestone in the cooperation between two renowned companies. For almost 40 years Kolmer Elektromotoren and Cantoni have successfully worked together, and last week this relationship was reaffirmed in Poland. During a meeting with the managements of both parties, not only was this long-standing cooperation remembered, but an important step was also taken: Kolmer has from now on not only the exclusive distribution right for Cantoni electric motors in the Netherlands, but also in Belgium and Luxembourg. Together with its network of service and sales partners in the Netherlands and soon also in Belgium, Kolmer further expands the distribution of these electric motors in the Benelux.

“It is an honor to further expand this partnership," said Martijn Stoffelsen, Kolmer's general manager. "This expansion allows us to serve customers throughout the Benelux and deliver on our promise of "Engines with Added Value" on a broader level.”

Efficient workhorses

Cantoni electric motors are known for their power, durability and customization, thanks in part to above-average efficiency and high active power (Cosinus phi). Users often emphasize this exceptional active power, which contributes to energy conservation and efficiency. Production in Poland, with proven techniques such as strong bearings, ensures reliable performance and fast delivery. Kolmer has its own engineering team and workshop in Harderwijk and, together with 25 sales and service partners in the Netherlands, has a stock of over 20,000 electric motors. This ensures fast availability and wide applicability.

Martijn Stoffelsen aptly describes it: "Cantoni electric motors are real workhorses - strong, robust and efficient. You can give them hell. Moreover, you can put them in front of any cart," he adds jokingly.

A brand with a rich history

Cantoni electric motors have earned a strong reputation worldwide. Once known as Elektrim, the brand remained true to its core values of quality and reliability even after the name change. To this day, this heritage is the solid foundation of its success.

Celebrating four decades of partnership is a valuable moment. "At a time when speed is often the focus, we sometimes forget how important loyalty and collaboration are," said Stoffelsen. "This applies to both customers and suppliers. This relationship with Cantoni shows how mutual trust and shared values contribute to sustainable success."
