Indumation.be 2022 will be Benelux I4.0 Valhalla...in spring !

Industrialfairs, Agoria and InduMotion move Indumation.com 2022 to May 18-19-20, 2022.

Late last week, Industrialfairs (organizer of Indumation.com, Machineering, INE, ABISS and Prototyping-MNE), along with the leading technology companies represented within the Agoria and InduMotion federations, to improve the timing of the leading automation event Indumation.com review.

With already 92% of area occupied by 175 companies and a superb program of events and expert classes, Indumation.com 2022 has all the makings of a brilliant 6th edition. However, several technology companies indicate that the planned date in early February is too early, given the current situation. A participation in a trade fair such as Indumation.com requires not only major budgetary efforts, but also thorough, lengthy preparation. To be able to welcome more than 10,000 decision makers and prescribers from all industrial and public sectors as visitors, and to put on such a large-scale event with festive nocturne, sufficient certainty about the preconditions is necessary. 

In order to provide clarity and certainty to exhibitors and the market, we as organizers must dare to take responsibility and it was decided to Indumation.com to be postponed to late spring. A difficult and painful, but timely and firm decision by the three organizing partners Industrialfairs, Agoria and InduMotion to go full steam ahead for the upcoming edition on May 18-19-20, 2022 in Kortrijk Xpo. #indumation #industrialfairs

Bart Steukers, CEO Agoria: "In the coming period we face a lot of challenges also in terms of organizing events. Also this time we have to make a well-considered decision in the context of the long-awaited INDUMATION fair. The 6th edition scheduled for February 2022 will be postponed to May 2022. The health of you as a visitor but also as an exhibitor remains of the highest importance and therefore the shift to a later date is for Agoria the only correct, socially based decision. As a federation of technology that wants to connect everyone inspired by technology, this fair is close to our hearts and we continue to enthusiastically support the successful initiatives INE and Indumation.be. Hugues Maes, president of InduMotion: "In turbulent times, moving quickly is essential. That is why the InduMotion Board of Directors feels it is important that this decision was made now. In the current phase of the pandemic, it is unthinkable for an event like Indumation to go ahead. The health of exhibitors and visitors comes first, so this is the only right decision for our federation. Moreover, May, in the middle of spring, is a wonderful season to be able to meet again, hopefully without Corona rules."

 Thierry Van Eeckhout, Vice President for Sales Digital Industries Siemens: "We are obviously sorry to see Indumation.be 2022 pushed back by several months but stand 100% behind this decision. Safety comes above all else. We will make sure we will be there twice as strong in May 2022. Indumation is still the opportunity to showcase the role the industry plays in Belgium and in the world.
