In industry, large quantities of water are used to manufacture, process, wash, dilute, cool or transport goods. Although water was once considered an unlimited and free resource, perceptions about its value have changed. Today, water means scarcity and there is an increasing social and environmental awareness.
Water is one of the causes of corrosion and damage to concrete and metals. This damage is caused not so much by the water itself, but rather by the chemicals (such as acids) contained in the water that make the industrial environment more aggressive. How can we protect storage tanks, reservoirs or catch basins constructed of concrete from these aggressive chemicals?
We would like to invite you to a free webinar where we will take a closer look at the different types of damage concrete can suffer in the industry and the need for protection. We discuss the use of water in the food and beverage industry and the needs to treat process water.
This webinar will continue in English.
