Ice cream manufacturer Ysco of Langemark-Poelkapelle seeks reinforcement to produce 115 million liters of ice cream

Ysco, the largest ice cream manufacturer, will be looking for about 100 additional employees for its production site in Langemark-Poelkapelle. With the new year, preparations for the summer or high season will also begin. For the recruitment, Ysco is calling on HR service provider Randstad.

For its production site in Langemark-Poelkapelle, where Ysco produces one billion ice creams annually, the company is looking for about one hundred new employees. It concerns about eighty seasonal jobs as packer and about twenty operators with career opportunities to line manager, with an option for a permanent contract. There are also vacancies for various other profiles such as technicians and warehousemen. These are mainly jobs in a two-shift system or night regime.

"Ysco is a very well-known employer in the region. In total, they produce 115 million liters of ice cream per year. Specifically, they make up to 36,000 ice cream cones per hour and about one million friscoes per day," says Lieselot Siersack of Randstad. "Moreover, it is part of the Milcobel group, a large international company, so there are plenty of long-term career opportunities. Both starters and people with experience are welcome."
