Fantastic, but how do you get these specifications done if you can't or won't use a flange gearbox? Apex Dynamics has found a remarkable solution.
Apex Dynamics regularly gets the question, Do you have an output shaft gearbox that has high radial and axial load specifications?
One solution, of course, is to modify an existing gearbox so that heavier bearings can be used. But in practice, the above question is often combined with different shaft thicknesses or lengths so that we quickly run into application limitations anyway. Therefore Apex Dynamics has chosen to provide a gearbox with flange with shaft stub in different sizes. So you always have the right output shaft and specifications.
The shaft stubs are available from stock as standard for flange gearboxes of sizes 64, 90, 110, 140, 200 and 255 and have output shafts from 16 to 90 mm without keyway, but with a threaded center bore.
Due to the fitting edge in the gearbox flange, this shaft stub is always mounted centered.
The shaft stub fits the following flange gearboxes from Apex Dynamics :
Applications include heavy-duty drum drives, centrifuges, high-precision winches and positioning applications.
