The essence of trade shows in the technology industry

It's just a matter of putting the final touches on the i's and then on Tuesday, September 24, we will kick off our four-day World of Industry, Technology & Science (WoTS) trade fair at the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht full of energy. Together with my team I am building a future in which technology, knowledge sharing and networking are central.

The WoTS is a place where professionals in industry, technology and science meet and exchange knowledge. Networking is central and it is more than just a trade fair: it is a platform where people with the same interests and goals come together. This is where valuable contacts and collaborations arise that extend beyond the trade show floor. We strongly believe in the power of sharing knowledge. During the WoTS we therefore offer an extensive program of seminars on the latest technological innovations and workshops on current topics, led by experts from industry and science. These sessions are not only informative, but also very inspiring. In fact, visitors are introduced to the latest trends and latest developments. It makes the WoTS unique: a great combination of a trade fair and a knowledge platform.

It is crucial that our exhibitions remain relevant to our visitors, which is why we constantly listen to feedback from both exhibitors and visitors. This keeps us abreast of what is going on in the market and responds to the needs of our target groups. We also work closely with various industry associations and partners to ensure an up-to-date and valuable program. 

I want to connect people and it's great to see companies sharing their issues, creating new collaborations and continuing to evolve their work processes. Networking is essential in a technology sector that is evolving at a rapid pace. With a special focus on the future, we are introducing a new matchmaking app this year, which we are very excited about. Before, but also during the fair, visitors and exhibitors fill in their interests and goals. A logical follow-up is a smart matching and possible acquaintance with relevant contacts. It's a great way to find the right people and start valuable conversations. With this, we continue to focus on growth and improvement and ensure that the WoTS remains the event for professionals within the technology industries in the future. I therefore cordially invite visitors and exhibitors to share their vision of networking with me.
