When simple is best

When designing a good level or pressure measuring instrument, the art is to determine what makes the application better. This is why VEGA continually challenges every component: from the choice of optimal materials to the clear user interface.

Three times distinguished

The decisive components have it all: they are self-explanatory, functional and very long-lasting. This is why the sensor specialist from the southern German Black Forest has now been awarded the Red Dot Design Award 2021.

The best solution is as simple as possible

“VEGA is simple", explained director Rainer Waltersbacher. "We are known for this core idea and we have perfected it in our product design." At VEGA, this principle was preceded by years of experience and much thorough research to ensure that a new product can cover all functions. The central goal is "Making the best solution for the user as simple as possible", Waltersbacher said.

On display at design fair

In justifying the award, the jury emphasized that precision and simplicity go hand in hand. It was impressed by the "clear design" and "thoughtful use," as that alone guarantees "reliable process safety." The recently chosen sensors will be featured in the "Design on Stage" exhibition at the Red Dot Design Museum in Essen. A good opportunity to convince you in person of the intuitive simplicity and aesthetic quality of the instruments.
