Cable bushing plates with hygienic design

KEL-DPU-HD cable entry plates are developed in accordance with Hygienic Design (HD) guidelines according to EHEDG standards. The design ensures that there are no recesses where dirt can accumulate, thanks to the smooth, flat surface and corners with a 6 mm radius, which is wider than the required 3 mm for better cleanability. The elastomer used is FDA-compliant and approved for food contact according to Regulation (EC) 1935/2004 and Regulation (EU) 10/2011. In addition, the signal color blue provides clear visual recognition, which facilitates inspection.

Applications of cable grommet plates

KEL-DPU-HD entry plates are suitable for feeding through and sealing cables without connectors (outer diameter of 3.2 mm to 20.5 mm) in space-constrained environments, with a protection rating of IP66/IP68*. This cable pass-through plate features a robust frame and provides additional strain relief for the cables passed through. Moreover, the KEL-DPU 24 exactly matches the recess and screw points of 24-pin industrial standard connectors, allowing easy mounting by screwing or snapping in place.

*IP68 applies only to screw mounting with internal threaded bushings.
