How is honey extracted from honeycombs? A question you may have asked yourself when seeing a well-stocked honeycomb. Well, the honey is slung out. The "honey combs" from a hive are placed in a honey pendulum. In this they are spun around and as a result of the centrifugal force that occurs, the honey is hurled out of the cells of the comb and collected.
Groschopp has developed a special motor for this purpose that can be controlled both in speed and direction of rotation with one lever. This is an almost unique combination within the drive market. This is why the motor has been widely used for many years in electric honey setters.
These motors are used only a few times a year and at those times they must actually function. During the pendulum process, the direction of rotation is changed every few minutes. This motor, called the RPM, meets this requirement perfectly well.
