Especially for the use with very sticky, tough or abrasive products, VEGA has developed the new, flat level switch VEGAPOINT 24. The emphasis here is on the greatest possible robustness. Even with the strongest deposits, the switch safely and reliably recognizes the covering state and indicates it with a colored light ring visible from afar.

Works perfectly when lit up

Thanks to its robustness, the VEGAPOINT 24 is a true plug-and-play sensor. It can be easily installed in just a few steps. This level switch is very easy to install in just a few steps. Flexible production lines with frequent and fast product changes can benefit from the fact that VEGAPOINT 24 detects all media using the standard setting without adjustment. An additional plus point is that extended functions, such as interface or foam detection, are very easy to configure.

Only metal in the tank

"With this device, we specifically target the food and beverage and pharmaceutical sectors. Mixing and conveying is all about efficiency and safety, even with demanding liquids and materials such as molasses or hazelnut and chocolate paste," explains Volker Allgaier, product manager at VEGA.

Especially the font-flush version of the VEGAPOINT 24 ensures universal application possibilities. "Even cleaning 'pigs' perform along the flat measuring probe without any problems," Allgaier emphasizes, "and even sandblasting is no problem for the measuring probe. After all, the tank contains only metal. Compared to plastic, extensive tests have shown a service life extension by a factor of 4.
