The thermal flow switch T-Easic® FTS measures flow and temperature according to the calorimetric principle. As soon as the set limit value is exceeded or undershot, the switch transmits the measured values to a higher-level controller. The parameters of the T-Easic® FTS can be set via IO-Link. The flow switch can be commissioned easily and quickly. This is also ensured by the factory-set default values for water and oil. In addition, almost all liquids can be calibrated easily and quickly.
Newly added features
- Empty pipe detection: the sensor detects whether the tip of the sensor touches the liquid (e.g., water and oil). An empty pipe is thus immediately noticed
- Pulse output: this output is used to specify the flow rate (the flow rate). In addition to the volume generated by a pulse (pulse valence), the pulse duration can also be defined
- Analog variant: a variant is now also available with one digital output and one analog output
- Improved usability: clearer menus and more convenient buttons provide greater ease of use
- New accessories: for example, adapters for tees are available, allowing the sensor tip to land exactly in the middle of the pipe. Also new is a pipe threaded on the inside
- Flow direction indication: arrows allow correct orientation relative to the pipe
