The new face of the Commander S micro frequency controller

Nidec Drives is constantly developing frequency and servo controllers. For example, the Commander S is now supplied as standard with a terminal cover for the connection terminals. When installing the frequency controller, the user can decide whether or not to replace the cover after wiring. The new terminal cover is a purely cosmetic addition. The performance, quality and protection level (IP20) of the Commander S remain unchanged. The terminal cover is conveniently labeled with a quick start menu. This allows the frequency control to be set manually when not using the Marshal app or the Connect software. The terminal cover is also available separately for use in existing installations.

The Commander S is suitable for applications that need plug-and-play right out of the box. It is the first frequency controller to come standard with an app interface and wireless communication via NFC. The Marshal app provides a revolutionary solution for commissioning, monitoring, diagnosing and supporting the controller. The Commander S is available in 3 frame sizes in the 0.18 kW to 4 kW power range and meets EU Ecodesign requirements. The Commander S, like other General Purpose controllers from Nidec Drives, comes with a free 5-year warranty.
