The VEGABAR (pressure sensors) and VEGAPOINT (level switches) product families prove that automation can be very simple and at the same time highly efficient, without having to compromise on safety, hygiene and accuracy. Managing director Peter Leemans: "With its modular plics® system, VEGA is garnering particular success, especially for complex applications. 360° INDICATION OF SWITCHING STATUS

The new measuring instruments VEGABAR and VEGAPOINT are thus ideally tailored to standard applications, where, however, no concessions should be made to quality and food safety. And there are further advantages. The short delivery times, for example, or VEGA's uniform hygienic adapter system. This provides the flexibility needed to keep costs and inventories at a sensible level. The process connections can be selected based on the application and adapted to the requirements on site. WIRELESS COMMUNICATION

The new compact series is packed with intelligent sensor technology: the standard protocol IO-Link ensures universal and at the same time very simple communication. This provides the instruments with the standardized communication platform that enables seamless data transmission and easy system integration. An additional feature is the presence of Bluetooth. Leemans: "Pressure sensors can sometimes be awkwardly positioned, set up in hard-to-reach places or in unsafe environments. Thanks to Bluetooth, it is possible to maintain sufficient distance and still do everything that is necessary: commissioning, reading values, reconfiguring ... An incredible asset in, for example, clean rooms or production areas where temperatures can be high."
