The Portal is now exclusively integrated into the EPLAN ePULSE cloud environment. Designers of electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems select the component data they need and can transfer it directly to their EPLAN projects This reduces the need for engineering and ensures engineers have standardized data for documentation. A completely new user interface with an intuitive search function and a smart suggestion function makes using the Portal easier, faster and more convenient than ever.
"The new EPLAN Data Portal has now been launched and this web-based application is now available exclusively in the EPLAN ePULSE cloud environment. Users of the current EPLAN Platform version 2.9 can, after registering at www.epulse.com, access the platform and benefit from direct online access to high-quality article databases from a permanently growing pool of renowned component manufacturers. Director Cloud Business Master Data Timm Hauschke says: "The direct transfer of the offered component data into the EPLAN documentation reduces the design effort for our customers and increases the quality of the system documentation of machine and plant systems." All solutions anchored in the EPLAN Platform have equal access to the web service.

our customers.
With its new user interface, EPLAN has made it even easier to use and navigate through the extensive range of stored component data. An intuitive search function provides quick and practical support. A suggestion function has also been integrated - for example, for product groups, components or manufacturers - with an appearance comparable to that of ordinary search engines. This saves time in design and leads quickly to results. Another practical advantage: calculation programs such as Rittal Therm or Schneider Electric's selectors are already integrated into the manufacturers' designs, making it even easier to select the right product. The user can therefore find what he is looking for in an even more targeted way and can also discover useful additions or alternatives with just a few mouse clicks.
The integration of EPLAN Data Portal into EPLAN ePULSE offers a number of immediate advantages: updates can be imported at any time - whether in the application itself or in the range of more than three hundred component manufacturers, who already offer around one million component data for direct download. In addition, more than 1.5 million component variants can be called up via integrated configurators. Another practical advantage for users is that their software is always up-to-date in the cloud environment.

The new EPLAN Data Portal has been integrated directly into the EPLAN ePULSE cloud environment since June. The new user interface with intuitive search and a smart suggestion function makes using the Portal easier, faster and more convenient than ever.
Standardized component data is indispensable for developing efficient processes. When control cabinets are designed in 3D, cable lengths are calculated automatically or mounting plates are machined by machines, standardized data are needed. As Hauschke explains, "The EPLAN Data Standard ensures proven classification standards for component data, such as eCl@ss Ad-vanced, by making them suitable for practical use. It ensures consistent use of data in all engineering and manufacturing processes - ultimately resulting in a fully integrated value chain." Users thus benefit from significant time savings from the beginning of project planning through to commissioning. After all, the representation of a device in different system diagrams is based on a uniform data source.
EPLAN Data Portal is a portal for data exchange between component manufacturers and designers of electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, providing basic download data. In addition to alphanumeric component data, it includes schematic macros, component information in multiple languages, preview images, documentation and additional information.
