With the SITRANS F M MAG 8000 and SIMATIC RTU 3000C, Fluxer already has two Siemens solutions in its range for reliable wireless communication of measurement data. In the first case, the MAG 8000, this is a flowmeter, battery-powered or not, with the possibility of wireless communication. As standard, it is equipped with two digital pulse outputs that can be used for an external totalizer or to activate an alarm signal, for example, but a 3G module can also be provided as an option. This takes care of the wireless communication.
The RTU 3000C is a more versatile solution. As standard, this communication module has eight digital and four analog inputs, as well as four digital outputs. This means that different probes and sensors can be connected to it and all associated data can be logged and reported through one module. Communication is wireless via 2G/3G or 4G, and if necessary, other antennas can be provided to ensure a good signal in places with minimal reception. An optional battery ensures that data is correctly captured even in the event of power outages.
