Usually we don't think about it, but often refrigeration plays an important role in our society. We take it for granted that the cold chain is respected within the food industry. And of course we expect the air conditioning in the office to provide a pleasant climate. Finally, there are many applications of industrial cooling in a wide variety of production processes.
Therefore, more and more companies are turning to Delta-Temp to provide them with additional cooling or emergency cooling when needed. Below is a brief description of some projects which we were privileged to realize last year:
Just like a power outage or loss of Internet connection, we only really realize how important refrigeration is when the cooling system breaks down: When it gets unbearably hot in the office or supermarket during the summer, people are more likely to seek cooler places. When the production line is in danger of shutting down because the refrigeration system fails, this has drastic consequences on turnover. Not to mention the importance of refrigerated warehouses where medicines are stored....
In a warehouse where chocolate and confectionery are kept, we installed a 300kW chiller and 2 powerful airhandlers so that even during the hot summer months the temperature remains under control.
At this food company, the fixed cooling installation was completely replaced. To guarantee the continuity of the production process, they called on Delta-Temp to install a temporary cooling installation for as long as needed.
A dairy manufacturer decided to temporarily expand storage space. For this, they were looking for a refrigeration system to keep the room temperature at 4°C.
