For food companies, flexibility is the key word in packaging. Print & Apply systems are therefore well established because they allow users to handle recipe changes very easily and always communicate the right information to the customer. Presa's Print & Apply solutions add another dimension to this. Indeed, thanks to the modular approach, customers always get a solution tailored to their process and products.
Food companies cannot avoid clear labeling. After all, consumers need to know what product they are getting their hands on, what the ingredients and their nutritional values are, whether it contains certain allergens ... "Print & Apply technology has therefore been a fixture in the food industry for years. The printing systems are linked to a software system so that the labels always contain the correct, most recent information. The combination of flexibility with the amount of text to be provided on the products, together with the possibility to work with the same label, is almost impossible with any other technology," says Dennis Ansloos, account manager at Presa.

Presa has been distributing professional and reliable labeling solutions for 35 years. "Production lines in the food industry often reach tremendously high speeds," Ansloos points out. "With up to more than 100 labels per minute, our Print & Apply solutions can certainly handle that pace. In addition, the modularity of our devices especially catches the eye. Depending on what the customer needs (label format, product format, position of the label, printer, control ...) we always put together the right configuration. No standard machines to which your production has to adapt, but customization adapted to your production. All machines consist of industrial standard components that we then build together into the desired solution. That makes the prices and delivery times particularly competitive."
Presa not only distributes these machines, it also provides full technical support. Ansloos: "That already starts with determining the right configuration. Where exactly should the customer hang his label? What industry standards and brand of printer engine does the customer prefer? Which applicator is needed? Based on the technical drawing we provide, he can then check the installation dimensions and design again within his production department. Only then does everything go into production." The installation and linking to the underlying software is also done by Presa. "This way, the customer has a flawlessly working solution." A particularly robust and reliable solution, by the way. "The number of wear parts at our brands has been reduced to a minimum for maximum uptime. We also keep a large inventory of spare parts in stock ourselves, so the customer is quickly put out of business when they need a spare part. In addition, thanks to our collaboration with our Dutch sister company De Koningh, we have the ability to draw on their stock for even more flexibility. That makes our collective strength even greater," Ansloos says. With now more than 3,000 installations in the Benelux, this is clearly a tasted formula in the market.

Even companies that are only temporarily looking for a Print & Apply solution are coming to Presa's rescue. "Recently, we've started keeping several machines in stock intended for rental. Ideal for food companies that want to operate an extra line temporarily, for example, or that we want to help out of a jam. There again, the strength of the cooperation with De Koningh comes into play. We can in fact offer our customers twice as many options," concludes Ansloos.
