SICK LFV200/230: the intelligent level switch for almost all liquids

The vibration level switches from the LFV200 series have been developed with the high hygiene requirements within the food industry in mind. They measure extremely precisely the predefined level in liquid systems. Whether for overfill protection, empty indication or dry-running protection in pipelines to protect pumps, the LFV200 works wear-free and maintenance-free and that independent of the liquid.

With its polished surface and robust vibrating fork made of stainless steel, the LFV200 the best choice in combination with aseptic process connections. This makes it also eligible for applications with very high hygiene requirements. Under the name LFV230, variants with longer tubes up to 1,200 mm are also available for tank top mounting. With IO-Link, the vibration frequency, amplitude and temperature of the sensor can be read out in addition to the switching signal. This puts comprehensive diagnostics and predictive maintenance at your fingertips.

The sensors from the LFV200 series are suitable for CIP and SIP. Their uses include point level measurement in storage tanks, in tanks containing anti-caking agents, in CIP storage tanks and for monitoring supply lines to casting machines.
