This new release expands the software suite with new features specifically developed for organizations with multiple production sites. This version builds on the strengths of CoLOS® Version 6, offering improved automation, compliance with industry standards, enhanced security layers, and intuitive operation. This helps increase production efficiency and reduce errors caused by inconsistencies.

CoLOS® Version 7 offers advanced, industry-certified security features, centralized management for organizations with packaging operations at multiple locations, high availability to minimize downtime, and a responsive, next-generation web user interface.

The most significant new feature in this version is the CoLOS® Multi-Site Functionality, which enables centralized management of the design, review, and automated approval workflows for messages and labels in production, as well as resource management across multiple plants worldwide. This ensures consistency, compliance, and a single source of truth (single source of truth) for all labels and label designs across various production sites. In addition, it provides a comprehensive overview of production efficiency and the potential for scaling up as operations continue to expand.

That is why CoLOS® Version 7 is certified in accordance with the IEC 62443-4-2 standard for cybersecurity requirements for product components. CoLOS® Software Version 7 is available for use with the full range of Markem-Imaje printers and is now also available as both an on-premises solution and a cloud-based subscription model. CoLOS® complies with global standards for marking and coding, including 1D and 2D barcodes, and is compatible with the latest GS1 Digital Link-standard.
